New Hyundai i45

Lines of pure beauty inspired by nature
Designed to challenge perceptions and push boundaries, the Hyundai i45’s stunning design exudes an air of luxury and refinement that immediately identifies it as a vehicle with true individuality and character. The organic flowing lines that create its sporty silhouette are based on Hyundai’s “Fluidic Sculpture” design language. Inspired by nature, this design philosophy considers the interplay of natural, fluid elements with the more rigid surface and structures of the vehicle to create the impression of constant, graceful motion.
Incredible style that’s matched by substance
Every element of the Hyundai i45’s styling and design has been developed with a purpose. The complex is made simple…a vehicle that’s a pleasure to look at becomes one that’s also a pleasure to drive. While the exterior styling emphasises the i45’s sensual low profile, its athletic design produces an interior that’s spacious for all occupants.
A meticulous, long-lasting finish
The precision and attention to detail evidenced throughout the i45 is also demonstrated in its immaculate bodywork. For extra protection and durability, an advanced process has been used in applying the lustrous paintwork, to ensure that the paint thoroughly seals and protects the chassis from corrosive elements such as salt and rain.
Sporty and chic, yet elegant and refined
With its smoked chrome radiator grille connected by character lines that sweep all the way to the vehicle’s rear, the Hyundai i45 conveys a sporty stance. Sleek cat-eye shaped headlamps provide a crisp bright light for enhanced night-time vision while large power-fold side-view mirrors that fold in and up, further enhance its unmistakable style and refinement.
An abundance of natural light
Unlike many vehicles with a low silhouette, the Hyundai i45 provides excellent visibility for all occupants, including those seated at the rear. For the driver, a wide windscreen and narrow side columns give an excellent forward view, while lowering the rear seat has enhanced the driver’s rear vision.
Surprising space with amazing comfort
Whether you’re behind the wheel or travelling in the back seat, the Hyundai i45’s elegant interior provides generous space and exceptional comfort. Leg, head and even shoulder-room dimensions in both front and rear seats exemplify its roominess, while a versatile 523 litre boot space is one of the largest in its class.
Technology that enhances driving confidence
Throughout the Hyundai i45 a myriad of cutting edge
technologies are
constantly at work, making the driving
experience easier, safer and
more satisfying.
When stopped on a steep incline, Hill-start
Assist Control (HAC)
technology helps by momentarily holding the
vehicle while you move
your foot from the brake to the accelerator.
Similarly, the Brake Assist System (BAS) comes
into play in an
emergency stopping situation, reducing braking
distance by applying
the maximum brake pressure.
Easy-to-use, logically positioned controls
The Hyundai i45’s ergonomically designed driver’s
cockpit doesn’t just look good,
it makes driving easier.
Steering wheel audio controls and centre stack
temperature controls are
positioned according to the most logical way
they’ll be used. That means
you can change stations or turn up the volume
without your eyes leaving
the road, while even first time passengers can
easily adjust the climate
settings as required.
A strategically positioned Supervision Cluster
that features sporty
dual-gauges and vacuum fluorescent display,
provides an instant overview
of all important vehicle performance indicators
using a large, clear display
that’s easy to comprehend with just a quick
glance.
It’s the little things that enhance
the journey
Whether you’re just travelling across town or
heading out for a few days
in the country, we’ve given attention to all
the details that add up to an
enjoyable journey. The front passenger seat is
fitted with four-way sliding
and reclining functions while adjustable rear
seat headrests provide extra
comfort and safety.
With an integrated six-speaker audio system
that incorporates a CD and
MP3 player, as well as connectivity for devices
such as an iPod®, you
can take your tunes with you.
Built-in quality delivers maximum safety
In designing and building the Hyundai i45, accident prevention and occupant safety have been our main priority. With an abundance of active and passive
safety technologies, the i45 proudly boasts a maximum 5-star ANCAP safety rating – the highest possible crash test safety rating.
Active safety considerations include Electronic Stability Control (ESC) which helps keep the vehicles on track during sudden braking or turning, while
Hyundai’s Traction Control System (TCS) monitors your grip, reducing wheel spin so that you can accelerate on slippery or uneven road surfaces.
Similarly, the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) prevents your brakes from locking up and distributes
braking force according to your vehicle’s load.
Other available active safety technologies include Hill start Assist Control# (HAC) to minimise backward rolling on steep ascents, a reverse
detection warning system to help guard against unseen objects behind the vehicle, and auto dusk sensing headlights. And they’re just the start…
