Wheels For Life

Since 1997 Wakelings Wheels for Life has raised over $540,000 providing vital equipment for the benefit of both Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals. This program has made possible the acquistion of such items as a ventilation machine, digital weigh chair, mobile X-ray machine, digital surgical cameras and state of the art operating theatre lights.
The program is based on the simple principle of Wakeling's allocating $25 to the scheme each time they sell a new or used car. According to Paul "we've always based our business on supporting the community that supports us and I can't think of a better way of doing just that than through our local hospitals".
The most recent contributions to the hospital include a new Bipap Ventilation machine and a digital weigh chair (read about them in Scott's blog "In the Driver's Seat").
"We greatly value the support that the Paul Wakeling Motor Group has continued to provide the hospital through the program." said Amanda Larkin - General Manager of Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals.
