Wheels for Life - Proudly supporting Camden & Campbelltown Hospitals
Since 1997 Wakelings Wheels for Life has raised over $500,000 providing vital equipment for the benefit of both Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals. This program has made possible the acquistion of such items as mobile X-ray machines, digital surgical cameras and state of the art operating theatre lights.
The program is based on the simple principle of Wakelings allocating a small amount to the scheme each time they sell a new or used car. According to Paul "we've always based our business on supporting the community that supports us and I can't think of a better way of doing just that than through our local hospitals".
The most recent contributions to the hospital include a new CTG machine for the Birthing units and two blue screen monitors which measure oxygen saturation levels in blood.
"We greatly value the support that the Paul Wakeling Motor Group has continued to provide the hospital through the program." said Amanda Larkin - General Manager of Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals.
