The Paul Wakeling Motor Group hosts Ladies Service Nights or Princess on Wheels nights quarterly as part of Ladies Weekend events. The nights are designed especially for women to familiarise themselves with the car servicing environment and learn about basic car and tyre maintenance as well as road safety.
Demonstrations are set up in the service centre and include:
- Tyre Maintenance and tyre changing
- Under the Bonnet – Basic Car Maintenance
- Under the Car – Explaining the parts under a car including brakes
- The Modern Dashboard – Understanding the latest in car technology
The nights kick off with a BBQ provided by the C91.3 Road Crew before the ladies attending are split into groups. They then spend time at each station where our technicians and mechanics present their information and encourage the ladies to ask questions and participate.
The local police generously give their time to present a safety presentation aimed at keeping women safe in their cars and on the road and Rob Gear of Defensive Solutions in Leumeah will also be demonstrating self defence techniques for women.
There is no such thing as a “dumb question” at our service nights.
The Princess on Wheels Night is held alternately to the Ladies Service Night and follows a similar format but caters specifically for young L & P plate female drivers.
The environment at these events is informative but fun and we always receive great feedback from those who attend. There are prizes to win and all booked attendees get a WOW bag to take home.
The Ladies Service Night and Princess on Wheels events are FREE however places are strictly limited and bookings are essential. Book early to avoid disappointment by clicking on the link below.
